So a little bit about me, and why I am writing this blog. To start with my name is Elissa but my nieces and nephews had trouble saying it, so I became Aunt EJ, and EJ seems to have stuck.
I was raised on a dairy (cow) farm, but the cows were sold, and now I am redesigning the barn for my goats. I started raising registered Nigerian Dwarf goats in 2013. I named my farm Royal Spirit Farm. I plan to focus write about things that I have learned about raising goats that are often overlooked. I will also do some posts just about what my goats have been doing and plenty of cute goat pictures. I also have two mustang horses, a mini horse, and five chickens (although it is baby chick season so that number might go up).
